Eagle Martial Arts is a martial arts school based in Arklow and Bray, Ireland, offering training programmes for children, teenagers and adults. As the school’s digital presence evolved, the website needed to provide a clearer and more engaging experience for prospective students and parents. The challenge was to transform a content-heavy website into a more structured digital platform, making programmes easier to explore, key information easier to find and the path towards enrolment more intuitive.

Challenge
The existing website contained a wide range of useful information, but its structure and visual hierarchy made it difficult for visitors to quickly understand the programmes available and identify the most relevant next step. Navigation, content organisation and calls to action needed to work together more effectively, particularly for users comparing classes across different age groups and locations. The challenge was to simplify this journey without losing the school’s established identity and strong sense of community, creating an experience that could communicate clearly with both prospective students and parents.
Objective
The objective was to redesign the website around a clearer information architecture and more intuitive user journey. Programme information, navigation and page content were reorganised to make the most important information easier to discover, while stronger calls to action were introduced to guide visitors towards enquiries and enrolment. The visual direction also needed to modernise the website while remaining connected to the energy, discipline and community associated with Eagle Martial Arts. Responsive behaviour was considered throughout the design to provide a consistent experience across desktop, tablet and mobile.
Results
The redesigned website introduced a clearer hierarchy, more structured content and a more focused path between discovering a programme and taking the next step. Improved navigation and more prominent calls to action made key information easier to access, while the updated visual system created a stronger and more consistent digital presence. The project resulted in a responsive website that better supports programme discovery, enquiries and student enrolment while presenting Eagle Martial Arts through a modern digital experience that remains connected to the school’s established identity and community.
